Young Allies Band - The Sound of Now in New York

From New York comes Young Allies — a band built on collaboration, atmosphere, and songs that take their time. Led by singer, songwriter, and actor Fritz Michel, Young Allies grew out of his solo work into a full group sound, with guitarist Tosh Sheridan, bassist Gavin Price, drummer Isaac Gardner, keyboardist Phil Kadet, and vocalist Shelly Bhushan sharing the stage and the vocals. Their debut EP, Fingers Entwined, and their Long Island City residency have marked a new chapter: less a one-person project, more a living New York band finding its shape in real time. Today on The Trout Show, we sit down with two members of Young Allies, Fritz and Gavin, to talk about the music, the city, and building something together.
